ITU AbsorbTech receives the 2016 Corporate Safety Award
ITU AbsorbTech has been named a winner of the Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award from the Wisconsin Safety Council (WSC) and the Department of Workforce Development (DWD).
ITU AbsorbTech has been a winner/finalist for the last seven years, demonstrating a great record of safety first.
“We are honored to be among the 11 businesses to receive the 2016 Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award,” says Jim Leef, President of ITU AbsorbTech.
“This award is a testament to our incredible people. From our safe driver initiatives to our ongoing 6S projects and award-winning AbsorbU training, employee engagement at every level is what drives and sustains our safety culture. It also takes a personal commitment from each and every person at our company to make each day a safe one.”
Out of 105 applicants this year, 75 companies were finalists who advanced to Phase II. From those finalists, a panel of 45 judges chose the 11 winners.This award honors companies which value their employees and take pride in ensuring their safety.
